It's a long wait for ice cream.

It feels like there is so much to do in preparation for Panama, and yet time seems to go by slowly.

So here is a quick update on our life  Pre- Panama.

We had two very successful yard sales a few weeks ago  (thank you to all who helped, donated and bought items from us.)  We were able to re-new my passport and apply for one for Sequoia.  

We have had quite a few offers of people who are willing to let us store some of our things while we are away.  Though we are still crossing our fingers for someone who has the space for us to stay with them while we are waiting to leave...

Sequoia, the great, is now 5.5 months old.  She has begun to eat solid foods, which is probably my most favorite stage thus far.  She is getting more and more mobile every day, scooting around the floor.  She enjoys playing with toys and singing with her Papi (Ephraim).  

Ephraim and I find little time between all of Ephraim's side jobs  (thank you friends!!), working his regular job (thank you Gibson's)   and just trying to watch Sequoia grow up.  But we can truly appreciate a busy season.  Although, I am pretty sure it was just a few days ago we had a day where no one in our household changed out of their pajamas...  a much needed day of rest.

And even with the few small set backs, the most recent one being our car breaking down.  (those who know us best are not surprised by this.  Ephraim and I have not gone more than 2 months with out having to fix a car since I have known him...)   We still find our spirits high.  At the end of the day, we lay in bed and know our God is good.  We are so very eager for this next step in our life.
